35L + Mark III

Those with experience using this combo - any issues? I plan to add the lens soon and wanted to double check before buying.

NOT looking for alternatives or advice other than people with experience with this combo.

I really like this combo and it is my main setup. Cameras and lens are not perfect but the combo works well for my uses.

I just rented the 35 to go with my 1D3 this week. So far I have mixed results. I am totally new to primes (aside from the nifty) and think the majority of my misses are due to me; not the camera. I think the thing that handicaps the 1D3 the most is the giant size of it's focus points. The problem is the focus point covers such a large area that there is more of a chance for error. Case in point would be trying to focus on the eye and the focus point would cover the eye; and the cheek/eyebrow.

Now when I do get a good focus the results are beautiful. The lens is a sweet one for sure.

Just got the 35mm to complete the trinity and yes it does belong there.
I use it with the 1Ds markIII and they rock.
