It's not everyday a new police car rolls around so I shot some photos before the patrol officers were able to muck it up with food crumbs, coffee stains, and general dirt.

I used two Sunpak 544's camera left and right. I'm thinking a third flash might have been nice under the dashboard.

Was it running? Tach says it is. If so, why? Just curious.
No exterior shots?
Definitely cleaner than any cop car I've been in. Usually were pretty rough by the time I got them (servicing/maintenance).

Why do I get the feeling this is a familiar view for some people on these forums... ;)

LMAO!

OP: I saw a couple of ideas in another thread about shooting a car's interior. Next time, you might want to consider straightening the steering wheel and turning on the dash lights.

Yes, it's running so I could have the AC on.

I have some exterior shots but they include an officer and I know he doesn't want his photo floating around. I'm doing another exterior shoot next week so I'll post those then.

Good call on the steering wheel. I'll reshoot tomorrow. While I'm at it, I'll turn the computer on and get some shots too. The interior lights are on here and I blew them out with my flashes. I'll try to adjust it tomorrow. Honestly, I didn't pay any attention to them during the shoot. I wanted to make sure the police radio was illuminated and forgot about the other lights.

Nice.

Is this the new Taurus that pretends to be a squad, or are these new 'vics?

ETA: After taking another look, must be a new vic.

My squad radio will turn on even without the car running. ;)
