If you re-shoot, maybe open the laptop?

How about a shot of the plastic back seat! I wonder if they have gotten more comfortable since my last free ride

Nice.

Is this the new Taurus that pretends to be a squad, or are these new 'vics?

ETA: After taking another look, must be a new vic.

It's a Crown Vic, from what I have been told the new Police Cruiser won't even be released until the fall at the earliest. (I'm a sales manager at a large Ford dealership.)

I'm no Jay Beckman but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night.

They're not. I had to sit in it to take the photo. Normally I wouldn't be caught dead sitting in one (germs) but this car was new (I still wiped it down as I wasn't certain one or two people haven't been given rides to the hotel).

It's still the Crown Vic. My PD just bought a few of them due to mileage and accidents in other cars. I'm pretty sure the interior of the new Ford cruiser is much different.

I thought about opening the laptop but I thought whatever was on the screen of the laptop might dominate the photo.

The car's on because cops ALWAYS leave their cars running. I mean, I hate gasoline as much as anyone else (which is why I try to destroy as much as possible) but cops take the cake for idling nonsense.

Nice pictures

The reason they are always running is because it takes like 2 minutes to shutdown the computer, turn off all the lights, turn off the radio etc, and if you forget anything the battery is dead when you come back.

It's not everyday a new police car rolls around so I shot some photos before the patrol officers were able to muck it up with food crumbs, coffee stains, and general dirt.

I used two Sunpak 544's camera left and right. I'm thinking a third flash might have been nice under the dashboard.

AND everyone else gets to have an air conditioned and heated office, why shouldn't I?

How did you get to photograph the interior of a cop car? Were the windows down and you just poked the camera in? If I did that over here I've soon end up INSIDE the car, and not in a good way!

Open it, don't turn it on. It would look great with this interior, I think.
