I have had 50D, 7D, and 5D2 all at the same time. The 7D is the best value.

Currently waiting for a good deal to pop up on a 24-105L.

I currently waiting for lenses to be annouced.....then wait for them to be released...then wait for them to ship...then wait for delivery! In the mean time....I save for them.

What am I waiting on? A 70/100-400L with a flourite element, 4 stop IS and weather sealing or a 400L with IS weather sealing and a little bit sharper.

I just had to sell my 70-200 F4 IS L to pay for my girls schooling(most of it atleast). So now im saving for a 70-200 mk2, once I get that. I start saving for a dust pump replacement. So I got time I guess.

I just waited for all the gear in my sig below...that is...in most cases I didn't actively seek them out even though I wanted them....

I bought them when they came my way...the most recent was my 85mm Nikkor that someone had on Craigslist...a beater, but it works...I then sold my 85/2 Nikkor on ebay for $120 more than I paid for the 1.8...and that's how I can justify my toys...wait and buy cheap when they fall in my lap, and sell what I no longer need...for a lot more...

if there was an exception it was the 30D...I waited and waited and waited for all the stock to be sold after the 40D was released, hoping to find the last one a local store might have in stock...each week/month the price went south...well, I did get lucky and 3 months after the 40D release I got the last 30D in the county... for half price...THAT was worth the wait...but lucky, as I said...

It'd be different if I were a shooting pro again...then I wouldn't wait a day if I needed something...
