I've not shot any macro for ages, this is my first macro shot with the 7D. Using an old Cosina 100mm lens (Nikon mount) with about 40mm of tubes. Can only stop down to f8 as it gets too dark to focus past that, I really need to get a proper Canon Macro lens.

not bad - I know what you mean about it getting dark with tubes (im a nikon user) gets very dark wtih 3sets on the body.

Great shot Ken, don't know how you manage.

You might want to check the used proced for the Canon 100mm macro classic, don't know if they may be dropping with peoplegoing for the 100L.

The wife says they are lily beetles, and they met an untimely and unpleasant death at her hand. Guess they shouldn't mess with her plants :D
