Sometimes my lil boy looks older than 2.

tlsmom2 - Nice capture. The post and the lighting work well together. The only issue I see is the brightness of her shoulder is distracting. Great shot otherwise.

Also, it does take time for people to post replies/comments... sometimes several hours to more than a day. Don't get discouraged if you see a lot of views with few/no comments.

lhughey - great shot. very nice conversion and DOF.

Thanks. Its funny how the lil joker spends so much time dodging the camera, but I won this time. :)

Yeah, sometimes he can look a lot older. Sometimes he "kinda" looks his age. See https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=886310 for details/evidence.

The photo you posted is nice. What was your lighting modified this strongly (where most of the background was not visible)? If not, I'm curious about how you decided the shape to black out the background.

Not sure if it is my favorite, but I have soooo much on my hard drive, so I thought that I would post my "latest" B&W fav. My son, Luke, having some fun on the swing set in the back yard.
