Most of the time when it hunts it's usually in conditions that I'd expect a lens to hunt, like low light, not enough contrast in the subject, etc.. Otherwise it's a great lens and I love using it... I really want to start using it for wide angle portrait shots but every time I have, the focus has been extremely frustrating and half of the shots are either back-focusing or just completely off. Would sending it in help any or is the focusing issue just the nature of this beast? Mine was having a lot of back-focusing issues, plus you caould hear something loose in the lens if you wiggled it around. Sent it in and came back flawless, a lot better focusing, and whatever was loose they fixed. 7D Mark ii l 100mm f/2.8 l 70-200mm f/2.8 l Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 l Tamron 10-24mm l 430EXII

There are a lot of cool angles to get some good shots of this place. I just so happened to drive by at sunset and snapped this one. YumaTrainStation
