Last few weeks my lens has really started hunting quite badly, getting quite annoying now. Sometimes its fine and then it just happens on any type of subject. It's only been on my 5D lately so need to try it on another body but I fear it's the lens.

The crop body shots I have glanced at the last few pages really haven't gotten my attention unfortunately. Seems like such a huge difference in IQ that the classic and mkii produce with the 85. I was going to pick up a copy tomorrow but now I feel persuaded not to make the purchase since I shoot a 50D.
