AF is insane. I had just assumed I'd sell mine and get the Sony 1.8, but AF hits pretty much perfectly every time using the cheaper (MC-11) adapter. Sharpness is terrific. Seems silly to sell it now...

By all reports the Sony 85 is fantastic--incredibly sharp, fast, beautiful bokeh, not too expensive, and smaller and lighter than the Sig (esp Sig + adapter). Still, I was afraid I'd rupture my credit card trying to "get up to speed" with the Sony, but things like this let me ease into things, slow and easy like... Call me Al Gear Flickr
