5DII/7D compliment each other like a married couple ;)

So, in other words, avoid the combination like the plague? "Compliment" isn't exactly how I'd describe the words traded by married couples. You certainly meant "complement", but married couples complement each other like, say, snakes and mongooses.

(Just kidding. I'm very happily married myself, but I couldn't resist this)

Seeing as you already have a 5DII and tend to shoot landscape and portait mostly I don't see the need for another body. If you really have the bug I would say sell both the 5DII and 50D and pickup a 1DsmkIII. Right now you can pick one up on the GTA Craigslist for @ $3500 CDN. Alot of the little nit picks of a 1DsII are cured with the mkIII. But really I would just upgrade my glass. Move into L primes and you will see your biggest improvements in IQ right there. Also the new 70-200MKII is a great lens that also works great with with a TC. I know it's on my wish list. Pickup a 135L as soon as you can, it's a great one and cheap.
