Checking out the oil spill slideshow I notice that all but one image with intact Exif data intact was taken by Canons: 5DII, 1DIII, 1DsIII, 1DIV and used by Rich Matthews underwater, the 30D! There was just one Nikon picture, a single D300s image.

there's a reality check for ya. it really makes you want to use green energy (solar, wind, etc). It reminds of a quote: "The lack of respect for growing, living things, soon led to the lack of respect for humans too."

This already ruined my summer vacation plans. Now its ruining the wildlife and such in the gulf.
I HATE THAT DAMN OIL SPILL.

Oh, and they used Canons because Nikon cameras wont shoot unless the oil in the water is Shell Premium and their straws have umbrellas.

I couldn't look at them all, it is heartbreaking thinking of all the death and destruction, and it will go on for years.

Yup I HATE BP and like to pull into their stations, or stations selling their product and ask people filling up if they knew of, or remember what is happening in the gulf... and who caused it. 9 times out of 10 the people have looked at me with a disturbed look, stopped the gas pump and left. :) or the ones just taking the gas cap off that do the same thing but go back inside and get their money back and thank me. I really do hate them and anyone still supporting their product.

I have made a few "nice" political posters so far as well (thank you graphic design degree!)

Oh boy! Post up some of those posters!!!
:D
Watermark them or something though, I know people love to take graphic design for free.

I WILL NOT fill my car with BP gas anymore.

No it doesn't, it makes me wish people were less careless.

I continue to use BP only because they are the only place that has 93 octane.

I'm pretty certain that you aren't hurting BP by doing this as they also sell their product to numerous independents and trade product with other majors. All your doing is hurting some poor guy that purchased a BP franchise.

We need to see more smart, young people with a desire to invoke change get involved in politics. And while it's a high priority for governments to create jobs and stimulate the economy they really need to stop being so cozy with big industry and companies like Haliburton.

I find that very hard to believe. Plus, why would you make the effort of driving into a BP station to tell costumers of the obvious.. It's not like it's going to make a dent in BP revenues.

I think that's quite pathetic of you

If you've ever used BP you have to blame yourself too. It's our demand for oil that led to this event. And whoever mentioned "green energy".. Green energy will never become a replacement for oil. Oil drives everything.

But seriously, we have to all stop hating BP and the blame game. It's a new kind of depth and new kind of problem. We need to work together to find a way to stop or at least reduce the outflow of the oil.
