Hi, this is my first post. Please bear with me if the question has been asked.

I just started learning studio photography. Can anyone recommend me a good set of studio flashs (primary, fill, strobe etc). I do not need a high end one. But it has to be able to work with my digital rebel. Also, it would be great if anybody can recommend a good online retailer.

Thanks in advance!

I have been looking at Britek brand studio strobes on ebay. Some of the pricing is VERY VERY tempting. I know its one of thoes cheaper brands and some of the other forum members might not like em at all. But i think im going to be purchasing thoes and giving them a shot. You can pick up COMPLETE studio kits from 300-700 bucks.

Here are a few links to what I was lookin to buy.

Three total of 1200 watt seconds

This is what I was looking to buy for a starter KIT.

Soo many differnt kits on ebay, just search for Studio Strobe, Soft Box, or anything else like that. For the price, and for someone who does NOT shoot for a living, but would like to make a buck or 2 on the side.. I think this is the route i will be taking. Unless someone can give me a damn good reason not to spend my $ on ebay strobes

Alien Bees are really great bang for the buck. Nice range of affordable accessories & light modifiers, and great customer service, too. Highly recommended.
