Went to the air races last weekend for the first time. Had a great time and captured some good shots. The weather wasn't the best, but I think I made the best of it with some shots of the Detroit skyline. I wanted to practice some multiple image shots, HDR, and psedo-HDR while I was within my 30 day trial of CS5.

Horizons are wonky in the first four images but what you captured in #2 is pure dynamite!

Wow. I've looked at these photos a bunch of times while editing and I never even noticed the horizons. Should I make the buildings level regardless of the angle of the planes? Thanks for the help. This is my second air show (first with a decent lens) and I'm really enjoying learning this stuff.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I think that #6 is Pete McLeod. It had "Windsor" on both wings. I noticed his plane looked different when I watched the New York race last night. I just looked on his website and see that he has a new sponsor, which explains the change.

I'm surprised that everyone likes #2 the best. I kept trying to keep the helicopter out of the background. But I do think that this one turned out well.
