Duane N saves an Eagle...

While shooting at the Gardens this morning, someone noticed a different looking bird floating in the canal that go through the garden. To our amazement it was this Eagle, Duane jumped in and helped the Eagle out of the water. The Eagle then hid in the brush until garden officials arrived, the Eagle is doing fine...Good job Duane.......bw!

Wow-looks like Duane could lose his nose there! Wonder what happened to the eagle to put him in the water??

Just awesome! Great act of kindness from a great guy. Well done Duane, I'm guessing he had a grip on those talons under the water, that being the business end. Thanks for sharing this Sam, very happy to hear the Eagle is well.

I knew he was a good guy! the little eagle sure does not look very appreciative though, probably scared.
