I took this tonight. It's the new Cooper River Bridge, connecting Charleston and Mt PLeasant.

Very nice image, interesting colours and I like your composition with the large body of water.......the slight movement in the water adds to it also I think.

I've shot that many times, being that I live in Mt. P. I've recently gotten into photography, and have been using an A75...I'd love any suggestions or help.

Keep taking pictures. I've found the more I take, the more I learn.

I like that first shot a lot, just as it is.

As for a suggestion, I would try taking the shot a little earlier in the day. It looks like the shutter was open so long that the bridge lights blew out before the sky or water got much exposure. It might help to take that shot every 5 minutes for a half hour to get an idea of when the sky is right. (Well, I know that's what I'd do, since I really have no idea *when* to take a shot like that...)

As for the second, again I would have shot a little earlier to get more red in the sky. The foreground doesn't really help that image in my opinion. I might have move as slose to the water as possible, and more to the left. Maybe line up the sun behind that crane on the left?

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
