You're judging other countries by the broken US medical system. My taxes pay for full medical care, I just pay $40 privately so that if anything serious goes wrong I get into a private hospital with the best surgeons without waiting.

Probably not the place to talk about this though, the mods may get angry.

Hey, I pay darn good money to make sure others have free healthcare. Whether they need it or not.

That is really, really inexpensive Tim.....unless you have an obnoxiously high deductible. Glad to hear somebody is making out ok though .

My excess is $250. It's a surgical and specialist policy, if I wanted to add GP coverage it'd cost me maybe another $25 a month, what a ripoff!
