Hey all...quick question. I ran out of room on my hard drive, so I started deleting folders. Apparently, for some reason, a wedding folder I deleted contained
2 previews.lrdata files.
Now, when I open lightroom, it's empty.
I have access to the .lrdata files, and the photos I want are still on my hard drive, but how can I
rejoin the .lrdata files with the photos in lightroom so I don't lose my edits?

The previews aren't the edits.

The edits are stored in the main catalog. The photos are stored separate. The application merges them, and forms a preview of what you'll get.

Deleting the previews does not get rid of the edits.

I'm not sure what you are seeing, unless you had a separate catalog for the weddings and you deleted the previews for those catalogs. But that shouldn't make the images disappear out of your catalog. When you are in the Library module, do the folders show up in the Folders section but are empty of images or do the folders not show up at all? That would indicate to me that you deleted the folders/files from your catalog, meaning that your edit info would have disappeared, meaning that you won't get it back without re-importing and editing.

When you say you were deleting folders, what exactly did you do?

If you only deleted previews, LR will rebuild them - one by one as needed or all at once if you run "Render Previews". As a matter of fact, the preview cache has a (settable) limit and once that is reached old previews are being deleted all the time, especially 1:1 previews.
