I had a friend who requested me to take pictures of her getting her tattoo (it's a tattoo in remembrance of her father who just recently passed).

I haven't taken people pictures in a while, but this was done in ambient light per request. There was a bright florescent light that they artist uses, and that is what you see.

C & C welcome, and please let me know if the color seems off, I am using a new monitor setup, and I don't think the calibration is right.

Very nice series. The lighting was very good considering you had to work under ambient conditions. The white balance is right on. Your friend will be very happy with the images.

Great photos - love the depth of field on #1.

Odd place for a tattoo about your Dad. I think I'll get a tattoo of my Mom on my $%^&*. Who does that?

Good series of shots... one of the better ones I've seen of people taking pics as tatts are done. Sorry your friend lost her dad. Hope this helps with the healing.

Very nice series. Lighting is great and white balance looks fine to me.

Nice series and looks like it is very nice tattoo. The lighting and color balance is spot on. She should be very happy with the results.

Thanks all. I'll try to get a picture of the tattoo, but she was just in town for a short time.
