A couple of Western bluebirds...

Not sure if this is a female, or a very young male/female bluebird.

Very pretty birds and great shots! The third and fourth shots are indeed the female. The third shot is my favorite of the bunch. We sometimes get to see these birds in the winter out in west Texas along with the Mountain Bluebirds.

Thanks, Brad! We don't get to see the bluebirds too often around here. There are some obviously, but not very common in Central Oregon. We also have Mountain bluebirds, but I have yet to see one.

Nice series of shots. We have lots of these here, and I hope to shoot some soon. They are nice posers as they sit looking for bugs to eat. The young birds are sure cute!
