I am setting up a photo booth for my sisters grad party and was hoping someone can help me out. I set everything up and I am trying to get it to shoot in liveview but for some reason will not trigger using my RC1 wireless remote with liveview turned on. It seems to work fine without liveview and the quick preview does show the photo after shooting. I want to be able to enable liveview so people can see if they are framed properly.

I am using a Win 7 64 laptop with EOS Utlity. 5D Mark II connected via USB. The EOS Utlity does display properly in liveview but for some reason, I can't get it to shoot with the remote, camera or software. I tried putting it in manual focus as well. Anyone have suggestions on getting this to work properly?

With LiveView you will lose your autofocus. Why don't you just map out an area on the background so that the subjects know what is within the shooting area?

I want to be able to set it up with a remote trigger without having to map out an area. I just realized that this might not be working due to a limitation of the RF602's I use to trigger the bees? Do the RF602 not work in liveview mode? Anyone?
