I was at Yosemite on Saturday and have to share this:

Canon is offering a program called Canon in the Parks. They will let you rent a Canon DSLR (such as t2i, 5D mk ii, etc) and various lenses for free and participate in an approximately 2 hour workshop to learn photo tips from a professional instructor. Link: http://www.usa.canon.com …ArticleAct&articleID=1326 (external link) (click on workshops)

They will be at Yosemite through June 26, also at Grand Canyon, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, and Acadia at other dates.

Here’s a picture of the equipment you have available to use:

What? That is awesome!

I live in a State with more national parks than any other and yet they aren't coming here? Hello Canon, ever hear of Zion, Arches, etc?

Are these seminars first-come-first-serve? Or is there a way to make reservations?

That's pretty awesome. If they came to the Great Smokey Mountains, I would be there in a heartbeat.
