First sunset shots try, Stanley Park, Vancouver

So, I am trying to take sunset shot.... I have 2 big issues, first one being that my pictures lack of colors... and that there is a lot of noise :/
For the noise I used Noise Ninja to try to reduce it, without bluring the details... for the colors, I try 2 different white balance on these shots, saturating a bit on red and yellow as well... Second picture was taken 10 minutes before the first one. C&C more than welcome!

I prefer the 2nd, as the 1st is too close to the formation. It over-dominates the scene. The 2nd would be better, I think, with only one ship or for them to be smaller.
