You kids all make good points. This one just hits close to home for me, as my dad is a photographer and I aspired to be a bit like him as a kid.

This is certainly a bit stinging Chet, if you can I would suggest you tell him exactly what you told us, and hold it close to your heart in your dealings with your children. I know it can be difficult, but it can also take your whole relationship with your dad to a great place.

she had a blast Deb, and I convinced her to go to Philly on August 7th for a mini reunion with some HS friends! at 75 there are only so many more all can attend! My SIL will drive her (I love my mom but she is a terrible driver) and I'll watch the kids and dad for the day.

I'm sure one day when he develops dementia or Alzheimer's I'll let him know.

And I'm all caught up.

Chief, I missed why you need to wash your bag in baking soda.

I'm helping someone dispose of his photo equipment. He's a smoker, and most of the stuff smells like ashtray. I'm not too concerned about the hardware; that will clean up and lose the smell pretty easily. The two Crumpler bags really wreak, though, and I have them in the garage till I figure out what to do with them.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Ah, gotcha! That lingering smoke smell is the worst!

Odoban and sunshine....

I'm not a big fan of the eucalyptus scent version....the lavender scent works just as well and is a whole lot easier on the nose.
