He just loves me as the fix it guy. I've been doing it since I was 5. I was driving cars home at 12 after he and I would go retrieve them and I would repair them on the side of the road. He would make repairs to lamps and he'd run to get something and I'd fix his shoddy work. He knew I did it too. He has always seen me as Mr. fix it, and tells everyone so. But I'm not so much a fan of being Mr. fix it, you really get taken advantage of by everyone. Family I don't mind so much, especially the folks, but acquaintances or people I work with drive me nuts.

I've always just wanted to be an artist. In a way my technically drawings/renderings make me an artist, but it just doesn't seem the same.

But I must say, thanks to everyones help I'm feeling better.

The problem is no one likes me well enough to feel slighted for being removed

I just noticed you removed me:shock: Dick.

We are getting pelted with deluge of rain and 1" hailstones. Lots of leaves now down too.

We just had a pretty heavy line of boomers go through.

No, my FB is chaos.

I just noticed you removed me:shock: Dick.

I was just tired of it I guess. I had one 'friend' who posted a rant daily. Sometimes 4 or 5 in less than half an hour. Everything was controversial. A while ago I had decided I'd just rather have people on FB that I know irl or have plans to meet etc. Then that whole drama happened and I felt like I lost control. kwim? It's more private to me anyway than probably other people. So today after being frustrated (and thanks to the advice here) I just took it back.

I feel like here is the place where I can visit with everyone and it is less private. If that makes sense.

and LOL don't feel bad. He axed me too.

This so resonates with me. I'm en engineer not only by training but also by temperament. It's just in my blood. I just don't have the same artistic eye so many of you have here. I really have to work at it and most of the time it just doesn't work. My daughter on the other hand is the opposite. She just sees things differently and her photography is beautiful.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

well, I only notice if I go to post on their wall or something and they aren't on my friend list. If you have a medium or big friend list, it's hard to know if someone is gone or not until something like that.

I just checked the Cheezburger site and saw this, then remembered I saw it here first.

I saw that same exact look on a cat's face once...
