Time to put Bax out for a final yard check and hit the hay.

WoolyDan have you ever been to the hardware store in Watertown, NY?

As I recall it is/was in the red brick building on the right HERE (external link).

I've been on that block countless times! There used to be a little corner bar place called Kegler's Lounge just about 180 degrees from that shot.

Ready for dog spam?

This is Venus. I have no doubts that she'll be adopted from the shelter, but if she's still there after this weekend, she is ours. :)

4 months old. Super fun.

Tyko is a 2 year old Border Collie. He has been debarked. You can't imagine how sad it is to hear this gorgeous border collie try to communicate with us, and just wheeze. :(

That is just horrible. I cannot express the rest of my thoughts as this is a family forum.

do you guys find yourselves "hiding" people on FB?

I have a couple of people that I've accepted their friend requests that I don't really know and their posts are crazy (I mean like alcoholic rantings). I'm not talking about anyone in here...lol Anyway, I've hidden them, mostly because I got so much flack for unfriending people...but it makes me wonder does anyone just think FB is so blasted encumbering? I have guilt because I WISH I could unfriend some people but not to hurt them. Just to remove them from my space :lol: Hiding seems so silly. I never look again once they are hidden. But I'm also not out to hurt anyone's feelings.

Anyway, just wanted some feedback. Sometimes the stupid politics of FB makes me feel like Jr. High all over again.

theague wrote in post #10522230 (external link)
I hide and delete things all the time. Just use FB for your enjoyment and forget the rest. ;)

Permagrin wrote in post #10522255 (external link)
you know, I saw how you axed a TON of people and no one said a word. I'm feeling absolutely persecuted that I get flack for it.:lol:

Becky N wrote in post #10522343 (external link)
Just remember Friend in FB terms is not the same as in real life...most times, it is merely a "contact", nothing more.

I know I'm coming late to this discussion, but I pretty much feel the same way as Kody and Becky. I there were someone on Facebook that was acting like Lisa described, then I'd "unfriend" them in a heartbeat. Some of these people act like FB is the "end-all." If they are that devastated when someone unfriends them, then their problems go much deeper than a simple on-line relationship.

Let me know what size shirts you want, and how many.

Morning will be fine, but specifics will have to wait until we know where we are staying, and if we have rejects.

I thought Heather had already told you what she wanted...

Keep me posted on the details. My phone will be on...

And Carmel (stupid name) will be ours as well if he's still there after Friday.
He's 2, and has a great personality.

It's not a stupid name. That was the name of my high school. Well, it's a stupid name for a male dog...

Funny you should mention Watertown, NY... I actually lived there at one time. I think I was about 1 or 2 at the time...
