I just checked my smuggy account and I have $700 in unpaid profit, woot! They direct deposit to my account occasionally.

Wow, that's nice. What images do you sell? I don't think I've ever looked at your smug account. =/

If only I had something like a 35L, I'd take the camera to all the little pastry stores in the Italian North End of here, and take some photos of mouthwatering stuff...

I used to have friends that lived in the North End and I ate at all those places!!!!! I miss Boston *sigh*

It is on the way from my wife's office to the train station - something nice to stop to on a warm day when you don't want to get the tube all the way home.

I sell horse race pictures. http://shortwave5.smugmug.com/Steeplechase (external link)

I put stuff on the rest of the site as well although I am not good about organizing it or posting my best stuff. Things that make it to the gallery are usually things I want a link for so I can share. http://shortwave5.smugmug.com/ (external link)

I was never a fan of the cake style doughnuts. My wife loves them though. I prefer something like this.

actually, the BBC news website always has "Day in Pictures (external link)" - but rather than a specific topic, it is more to do with a few photos each day from all over the world, related to the day's news...

I've got this cat craving attention and when you have 18 pounds of affection rolling around your desk and in your face, it's a little distracting...

Around here there are filled with a runny cream filling supposed to be custard, and the top dipped in chocolate. You take a bite, and get unsightly gobs of cream filling on you. Yucky.

Permagrin wrote in post #10584415 (external link)
I thought it was a chocolate eclair but perhaps I'm wrong. *is okay with wrongness*

A chocolate eclair is usually a long doughnut , dipped in chocolate and filled with whip cream.

I had grilled beef fajitas, all organic. Tomatoes, peppers and onions from the garden and organic beef. Maybe the tortillas weren't, don't know about those. But they were cracked corn tortillas so no white flour.

Now that sounds good. :)

I don't have a deep fryer either, I like cake donuts. I might want to try making them one day.

technically a real chocolate eclair is choux pastry baked & filled with whip cream and topped with chocolate. I have a wonderful recipe for them.

But I've noticed that people fry a sweet yeast donut dough and fill them with a cream filling, top with chocolate glaze and call it a chocolate eclair.
