kraaazymike Goldmember 1,231 posts Likes: 2 Joined Jun 2006 More info | Cloning and burning. It's good to look for this stuff when you frame your shot initially. Try placing the strobe higher or to the side more or have them turn their heads different directions until the glare goes away.

To me rembrandts work better with a more serious look on the subject. But in the end it's whatever makes your client happy.

But sometimes flat is just what they want as headshots are often printed small, in black and white, with low resolution resulting in a contrasty image.

Also, had he been wearing glasses, there wouldn't be glare as the light is at a higher angle. Don't mind my cheesy logo. Still putzing with that.
