These are excellent! What are the dimensions of that bird bath? Is there water trickling?

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

WOW, you have quite the collection of bathers there ET. I need something like this. My plastic water dish is kind of tacky. Great shots!

Thanks, Gail! This is one of the best publicly available bird photography locations in Oregon. It is called Cabin lake, and located in the middle of the state.
I was actually sitting in a viewing blind (cabin), only about 10 ft from the pool you see. This is a very dry region, and the water you see in the pool is the only available within miles. Birds pretty much have to go there. The water is coming from a nearby cistern specially made for this purpose, and the pool is very rarely dry. I normally stay for a couple of hours and see all different kinds of birds... woodpeckers, finches, crossbills, bluebirds, warblers, sparrows, and many more. I just can't get tired of this place. I've been going there fairly often as I live only about 50 miles from there. Just an amazing place... :)

Thanks, Steve! As I just explained to Gail, this place is well known among Oregon birders. If you want to learn more about the place, check this out:

Thanks for posting this site ET, if I had this near me I would be there all the time. What a great spot. I wish the National Park Service would do something like this for the birds around here. Not much water in AZ. The waterhole I go to is in the National Forest and maintained by game and fish. No blind there, so I bring my own. It about 15 miles from my house.
