I recently switched my online gallery from a Flash (With HTML override in the event of not having Flash) to an AJAX/Javascript page. Since then, I have dropped in Google ranking (Page Rank still the same).
The gallery I went with was the Imago gallery as it was exactly what I wanted:
- Clean interface. Ability to flip forward and backward through a gallery
- Supports Caption for Images
- Hosted on my Website (Not an external site, and not on my WP Blog)
Unfortunately, Google doesn't understand Ajax very well (As confirmed by author of Imago), so it never saw the images.
My previous Flash Solution (Simpleviewer) did pretty much the same thing.
Really, I want something that can allow me to have the Alt and Title tags, but not to clutter the screen with multiple images.
If such a solution out there exists, please let me know
