Tiffen

There seem to be a lot of tiffen filters for sale on the classifieds in the forum. That leads me to believe that they are not the best quality.

Does anyone have positive comments about the tiffen brand filters? CPL, UV, ND, etc.. because B7H has a kit that I'd like to buy.

I once owned a Tiffen linear polarizer decades ago. Rotating it in my hand, I discovered that it actually distorted the image, acting like a prism. I quickly stepped on it to smash it, so as never to infect an unsuspecting innocent photographer who might buy it in a thrift store, if I merely gave it away.
