I have a Benro Travel Angel 168 (http://www.amazon.com …IZY2/ref=oss_pr​oduct)that (external link) has been excellent for me. I've never had any issues with it, and it's compact enough to take everywhere.

unfortunately I'm seriously debating on selling it as I've not used it since last September when I bought it for a trip to Puerto Rico.

on Amazon brand new, they run $159.
