Iceberg In The Dark

Neither FG nor anything to give scale, I basically had the berg and falling light with that typical blue cast. Not as sharp as I would have liked it but considering the cold and windy conditions and not knowing where to point the camera, all I could think about at the time was getting back to the camper for a hot cup of chocolate. :D

This is the same iceberg as my last iceberg post.

ohh I like this.

Now question for my benefit if I would to reframe it, would a cropping the water below and the right side to give it a better rule of third perspective be better?

Wow, I absolutely love it! Love the dark coloring and deep blues. Gonna have to go check out the other iceberg shot now...

Great shot. Kinda freaky. Makes me think of the one that took down the Titanic. has almost the same shape.

Beautiful! looks like a scene from Titanic.
Did you take this shot from shore or boat? I'm planing a trip to Saint John's , what's the best time of the year to see this icebergs and where should i go?

I agree with Tom, this photo captures a moment that is simple yet dramatic. I love how these cameras/pp can really bring out the colors.
