Since switching to Macs, I've lost the ability to view the "prints remaining" on my Mitsubishi 9550DW dye-sub printer as there doesn't seem to be a utility that does the same job as the one on my previous windows machine.

I could switch backwards and forwards to discover the numbers (or use a pencil and paper to record it!), but it would be much more convenient to have the same functionality on my Mac available at the click of a mouse.

Anyone know if there is such a utility for the Mac, and where I might find it?

Thanks

TJ

Did you try here: http://www.mitsubishi-imaging.com/drivers_downloads.asp (external link)

Or is the utility something different than whats included with the drivers?

Looking at the PDF on that site, it appears to show a Printer Utility in the "Utilities" folder after nstallation. When I installed the printer drivers off the CD, I don't recall any option to install the utility.

Also, if I download and "update" my drivers to this version, will I also have to change my .icc profile to the one from this site?

I'm always of the mindset that "if it aint bust - don't fix it" so am hesitant about changing something when it currently works!

Do you happen to know if it's possible to just install the "Printer Utility"?

Thanks again.

Just checking further, and I already have the same version of drivers installed as that download you point to.
