May I point out the irony in how much the OP has stated (or stipulated, as he so clearly prefers) that he means not to brag, yet then goes on and tells the world in a callous (acerbic, anyone?) attitude just how much gear and cash he has.

And may i point out that its not my equipment, i don't get to keep it. Also perhaps when i initially posted it was with a sense of merryment, yes it has now been altered so that it is less of a 'brag'.

If i have been callous its only because of users wandering in here and being generally rude toward me, i assumed personal attacks or if you prefer being obnoxious was something that was not tolerated here (yes im aware that i was probably a little of this to begin with, anything in response to posts since then is justified i feel)

Shall we move on?

Wasn't the whole point of this thread was to find out what you should get for the place you work for? If your going to buy it and use it shouldn't you know what you need to get? Your going to be the one using the equipment, not us so get what you want and be happy. I don't think anyone is jealous about what you want to get after all it isn't yours to begin with. Buy what you want and have fun using it. Personally if I were your boss and found out you don't know what to get with my money I would find someone else that does.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

I know you said L glass only, but I am sorry there are a few non-L lenses that really need to be on the list:

Canon MP-E 65 F/2.8 Macro
Only reason this isn't an L lense is because it is so specialized. Up to 5:1 macro, you can't pass it up.

Sigma 300-800 F/5.6
Extremely close to the sharpness and color of Canon's 600 F/4L and you get a lot more flexibility to boot. As long as you have the cash may as well get this as well. There is really nothing available in the market to compete with this lense, especially since it loses very little even with a 1.4TC.

Sigma 200-500 F/2.8
How can you leave this out? It is the most monsterous lense ever released for Canons. Even more so than the 1200mm, and that is saying something (And fortunately not nearly as expensive).

I'm confused.. If you are asking what is in OUR dream kit, why do we need to know how much budget you have and what you are doing with this budget ?! That seems redundant to me..
