I understand the canon 300F4L IS is not fully weather sealed. But for those of you who actually own this lens and have used it outdoor, what are your thoughts on how good it holds up in some light rain and -15C weather?

Would appreciate some feedback.

I've been using my 200f2.8L II with a telecon often and I was pondering if I should just sell them and get a 300... the 200 is weather sealed so I've often used it outdoors in light rain without a worry.

It works fine in light rain. It works well in the cold too. It survived a Wisconsin winter with no problems.
