Went and took some pictures of my niece today for my sister, a couple of my favorites....any c&c is appreciated. Im sure you know that im an automotive photographer but im really trying to get into more portrait type of work.

Yeah - #1 is great but had the strays...
#3 has really nice toning and she is captivating...
Last one I thought Popeye before I saw anyone elses posting.... That is a wall hanger!

yeah it sucks about the stray hairs *sigh*
i just hate that her shirt is soooo blown out *sigh again*
i dont know what made her do that face but it did make for a good photo :D

im normally very anal about the rule of thirds but i purposely tried to break that rule this time just to do something different....cant tell you why though lol

These look wonderful. Great job. The PP on the eyes is obvious, but people go nuts for that look and it's done well. The center composition looks ok, and you can always crop off one side when printing them in frame sizes.

this was my 1st time very doing any type of PP on eyes so im sure i did end up over doing it a tad lol

my sister is going to want some 8x10's so i might do that for the prints, i just felt like the whole rule of thirds thing was beating me down and i wanted to step out side the box.
