Well just about managed to get up to Silverstone in time for the start of the 125 practice.

Made my way down to the photographers hot spot at Club and Vale which has a clear view onto the track where i should think nearly every tog had headed for so think there will be loads of pics from the same spot LOL.

Anyway will be back up there tomorrow for my final day and to try and find some other tog friendly spots hopefully as im having trouble finding my way round the new circuit and then will be watching the race from the comfort of my armchair on Sunday.

Great shots.

So Silverstone has actually thought about us for once? And you actually got within 20 miles of the track? Wonders will never cease.

What lenses were you using to get these? Just to give me an idea of how far away from the track it was you understand.

Bradley ( 38 ) needs to start performing soon, whats this, his third year in the class? He always seems to end up at the tail end of any group. I get the feeling he does not enjoy the on track fighting for position, something Rossi always loved and something a top 125 rider must be able to do.

The last shot of Lorenzo is my favourite from the weekend.

Was planning on going back up today for second practice and Qualifying but my little lad is ill so will have to make World Superbikes my next outing.

Look forward to seeing other peoples pics from the weekend.

thats definately some distance for shooting!! how do you keep the camera steady at 300 + 2xTC? ive never used a setup like that but panning at anything that length would be a challenge.

shots are truely awesome

I still use it free hand as i hate monopods but it does get heavy after some time and im not the biggest of blokes at 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing just over 9 stone its almost as heavy as me .
