made me remember how awesome it is to go up in a small plane and look over a city at ~5000 feet. The College of Aviation at the University of Illinois did a "Fun Flights" campaign over one summer, where you could pay $65 and go up for a half-hour around Champaign and even try your hands at the yoke. It's pretty amusing to see how sprawled out the campus is -- and contrast that to all the flatness of its surrounds!
