N1, mjrod. I used to live between Ward & Downtown on the 39th floor. Got some crazy colors off of the ocean at sunset. No good camera back then though. :(

My contribution: Roppongi - the armpit of Japan.

Wow -- close. No, I'm not in the military. I look like Jesus, everyone says. Quite a funny picture if I was (or tried). I used to play in some military poker games on/near base when I was there in 2005-2006. Japan is awesome... too bad the people running it are such morons. I don't think my son will be able to enjoy it the way I do.

The shot below is my old neighborhood (Tomigaya) looking directly at Shinjuku (over my current neighborhood, Yoyogi). Just a bit north of Shibuya. I like the old hood better.

Great shot, I was there just 3 weeks ago - on the exact other side. This side is way cooler LOL!

I have a shot from the other side too! haha... I'll have to dig that up later. It's an amazing place to look over though, isn't it? I was unfortunately being rushed because we had other places to be so I couldn't soak it in as much as I wanted to :(

Recent one I took a week or so ago. I am needing to wake up for a sunrise to get better light... or get lucky at sunset. I have been many times and the sunset is not extending as much as I need to get into the frame, maybe sunrise?? who knows :)... I'll hopefully have a new one of it sometime soon.

Brisbane Festival 2011, "City in Lights" laser show.

There was quite a bit of smoke around, which enhanced the effect of the lights and lasers!

I've gone through all 55 pages of this thread...awesome shots all! I'm going to be hard pressed to keep up with any of you guys...but I have to give it a shot, because I have to represent my hometown, which I haven't seen posted here yet!

Philadelphia (both from Fairmount Park):

Yikes.. Your sensor needs a serious clean, the shots look OOF too!

My hometown of Manchester, New Hampshire. Small town compared to most urban jungles, but a wonderful place to live!
