I have a couple of bags now (Crumpler 5MDH, Kata DR-466 backpack) that I like but would like to add another. My camera is the T2i and would like to get a small bag that would carry the T2i with my 24-105L lens. The bag wouldn't need to hold anything else other than a lens pen or spare battery. I just want something with minimal bulk. I do like the Crumplers. Would a 3 or 4 MDH fit the setup above, or any other suggestions that are similar (shoulder bag).

case logic sling bag - SLRC 205

I use mine to carry a 5dm2, 24-105mm, the second large pocket usually has my 135mm or 200mm with 1.4x or 2.0x converters, sometimes I carry the 580ex II.
Also doubles as a Black rapid style sling strap, when you put the ConnectR-2 on the bag strap.

If you want a small bag, get the Domke 700-53S F-5XC. It's tiny, but if I really want to stuff it, I can get my 5DII, Sigma 24-70 & 70-200, and a 580EX. It's the perfect bag light travel.

Have you looked at Lowepro's Toploader Pro-series? Should think you can find something there. Otherwise the Rezo-series are worth checking out. Dimensions are on Lowepro's website, so you can see if it fits or not.

The Domke F-5X line sounds like it might be what you're looking for - well made bags, highly recommended.

Lowepro Classified 140. Built like a tank and very small.

I Love my Lowepro Micro-trekker.

It is my "Everyday, all day, all the time" go to bag. Small light, built very well and really does not "look" like a camera bag.

Can not imagine a Backpack any smaller.

Just an "ole dog" trying to learn "new tricks"! helpful advice is always welcome!!

Both overkill for one body with lens + minimal accessories it seems

I agree. I have Crumpler that isn't huge and can carry an extra lens and my 430 flash or 2 extra lenses. I want something even smaller but large enough to handle the T2i with 24-105L lens attached.

So far I leaning toward trying of of the Domkes. Probably one the F-5XB model.

The F5XB would do that; I stow a 5D or 7D with the 24-70 and a 580EX in mine. If you have a nearby shop that carries the Domke range you might check to see if an F5XA would work. It's a bit small for my 5D2, but the T2i is somewhat smaller.

Going to Frys to check out the Domke F-5XB Ruggedwear. Looks nice. Anyone have any Frys coupons where I can order online for store pickup?
