You have a bad spot in your wiper blade ;)
I like the second one best.
I enjoy doing these as well.

This thread just got a whole lot shorter.
If anyone has a problem with someone else's post then use the report post button and a mod will deal with it.
If they are not doing anything against the rules, and you simply dis-agree with them, but are unable to express yourself in a rational and objective way, then just ignore them.
Failing to do so is simply not worth getting banned over.

Deffinitly some interesting light.
I've often thought of trying the same thing myself while driving, but its very, very hard to get anything that actually stands out as being cool to look at for more than a minute or too.

The best examples of this sort of photo that I've seen were done by passengers in a car. That way you can let someone else worry about driving, while you worry about getting the camera set up right.
You also need to spend a bit of time just driving around looking for just the right combination of light and view out the window.

I would suggest another try at this because besides having some interesting light, the first pic is way out of focus (the one that was deleted). Second one was focused only in the windshield area, but I agree these should only be tried by a passenger, driving and doing this could potentially be dangerous.

Besides the interesting light I failed to see a theme here maybe clarifying it would help to understand it better. Maybe thats where the experimental part comes into play though.

Basically the same view you see there but completely OOF, overexposed skies...etc.

It was removed by him....I guess he couldn't stand the critic...(but, boy how he likes to criticize almost everyone here!! LOL!!)

it wasn't constructive critic, it was flaming critic, so no need to oil the fire.

can't wait to hear stuff said about this picture, was taken july 10th 2009.

ya know what, flame it, critique it, or whatever (flame on brainy)

again, going straight, between windshield wiper strokes, probably going 30 mph, and again, taken with my point and shoot (so i'm not looking through a big DSLR view finder and not seeing anything)

My pleasure, kid.... Here is a nice constructive critique:

It seems like an interesting image you capture there. The effect is almost dreamy and is a much better image than the ones you posted before. It looks a tad underexposed though and it would benefit a lot with a little curve and levels work. (noise wont be affected by these BTW!) I would clone out that antenna like projection that seems to be growing out of the van's roof. You could even try to clone out that overexposed, blown left side of the sky area there.

I would suggest to avoid trying to get these images while driving, since you could be getting too distracted from the road itself. Better to do it as a passenger or with a tripod, remote (preferably wireless) in the car setup in the event you want to keep going for these. Much safer for you and others around you.

Constructive enough? I hope so....keep shooting and be safe...I'LL be here all week!

id be doing the same kind (but probably not as long) critique as that for any one of yours. I try to help people or give positive comments about someones picture. Most people these days like the picture WAY down on the frame, I don't. I like them more up (but not way up) in the frame... with more ground.

Please do. But inform yourself better as to what your talking about. My advice? Look up at how to avoid noise or how to try to make it better in PP work...

Good luck!!:D

I like it, with just the rain in focus it does have a sort of dream-like quality. It makes me want to say, wake up and pay attention to the road.
