Hard to tell Mantra, but could be a Gitzo. If so, that's an excellent (expensive brand). What in particular do you like about this particular item?

the chromium-plated legs

and the simple head , the level on the right to ratate the head i love it
and the level to rise up/down the camera

it's a cool tripod i guess light , perfect to travel

Ah, this might explain why it only has two. But still, on this picture of the vintage, one can see a kind of knob between head and legs, which the one on DA doesn't have. The one on DA has a different kind of knob (tightening-mechanism?) with two "wings" underneath the head though.

Most tripods only have two. A lot of photogs usethe firemans carry with their tripods and to save weight use pads only on the two that go across their shoulders.
