I have to question the fact that your basically buying a tripod based on how it looks.

the shooter told me it's a manfrotto made in italy

weird , it's very similar, analogue to the giottos

I have never seen a Manfrotto with that type of centre column twist lock. It's very specific to Giottos and Gitzo. Also I'm fairly sure Manfrotto make all their legs black.

Head looks like a Bogen/Manfrotto 391. Lots of people have knocked off the Gitzo look so it's iffy.
