I'm curious to know who here shoots in very hot, very cold, or otherwise extreme weather conditions, and your experiences with memory cards. Sandisk is so far the only company that sells a line (the Extreme line) that is advertised to function in the temperature extremes, but I can't really find any evidence to suggest that other memory cards are more prone to failure in harsh conditions than the Extreme ones.
I may or may not be cheap and trying to save money. (Sandisk Extreme 8GB cards cost $110 where I live!)
And just to start off with my own experience, my Sandisk Extreme III 8GB in my 40D survived 2 hours of shooting in -30C weather in Saskatoon.
