Some friends asked for some engagement pictures so I gave it a shot. This is my first time not just taking candid shots; and my first post here after lurking for quite some time.

I think you did pretty well for your first time :)
I like #2 and 3 :)
The silhouette shot would have been better had they been facing each other, kissing, or just touching noses. Right now they just look like 2 people standing on a hill side. We need connection between the subjects

i like #3 but her hand looks like its at a really uncomfortable angle.

thank you jules #2 ended up framed at their shower and on a cake at their reception so I think they were happy, and they want #3 on a canvas. I agree about her hand looking uncomfortable, he is at least a foot taller than she is so that explains it

Yeah me and my gf have the same height difference so I can see how the angle of her hand happened.
