Mk II 'N' - bad shutter?

This just happened today. I suspect a bad shutter.
This really stinks because I'm right in the heart of a week
long shoot and have to go to my 40D backup unless I can
find a local source for a rental body. (??)

sorry to hear about it, although the 40d is a very capable camera for backup
