Hello All,

I am going to a wine/blues fest this weekend and am wondering what basic tips I can get from you folks to make sure some of my shots are worth while. I am really going to enjoy all above but would like to get a little creative with my camera and have no clue. It is a small event and I will be able to walk right up to the stage. So what kind of gear would you bring? I am def not bringing my tripod but what lenses would you bring?

My gear: 5Dc, 35 f/2, 50 f/1.8, 100 f/2, 300 f/4, 24-105, and 70-200 f/4 IS.

This is a daytime show which will end around sunset. There will be lots of vendors and all sorts of folks in the crowd.

Anyhow, any suggestions are most appreciated as this is my first time doing this sort of thing.

Thanks - jriley

Well, hope this is still on time ;)

Depends on what you want to shoot really.

I'd probably leave the 300 at home.
If you want to travel light: Both zooms. With IS and ISO 3200 you should be able to get by, even around sunset.
Alternative: the three primes. (But 35mm might not be quite wide enough)
