They advertise ridiculously low prices. I almost called them today to see what the deal really is, but then I came across these reviews.. Glad I did.. I didn't even bother calling them.

Whenever you see a website with "spectacular" prices on the cameras, always check out the accessories.
$400 "professional" memory cards. That is where they will get you.

They even show the package deals at the bottom and the first one is a 5DmkII and the 18-55mm lens, one with a 10-22, and one with the 18-55 and 55-250. Considering these are EF-S Lenses with a body that only takes EF lenses, you pretty much just have to realize it's a scam. But sadly, I'd imagine there are a lot of people who don't know.

I wouldn't have noticed that. But apparently since I have high speed 8gb SD and 8gb CF cards, maybe I should sell those and get about $500 total for both, haha.

I called one of these places once, I said I wanted to order a 24-70 L, and 70-200 f/4 L for their advertised price of ridiculously low. He then explained to me that was all good and dandy, and that he would love to place the order BUT, in order for my fancy new lenses to have Auto-Focus, I would need to *upgrade* them to digital! And that would be another $600, hahahaha

LOL - "upgrade to digital" .......

But I actually heard that some people would get a shipment in about a month of time later in some banged-up box. I've read previously on reseller ratings about these guys

Am fortunate enough to have had not to deal with scams like this.. but reading the struggles and frustrations of my fellow photogs on those reviews really does upset me. Not everyone is "scam aware" as others are.... that's also sad. These scam artists prey on the trust of hardworking people who are excited to get a great bargain (which do exist in the real world, maybe not as much in the world of photography).

The 'upgrade' to a 28-135 will be $699. If you refuse to accept the 'upgrade' you order will be permanently backordered until you give up and go away.
