No. The selective (un)coloring just creates more of a reason to look at the edges Might be better to leave it in color and do some edge burn to darken the corners a bit.

If I had to selectively color this photo, I would have chosen contents of the bowl and not the tray.

Regardless of food or offering, it still looks messy.

Why is everything so yellow? If bottom left are dates, they should be brown, not yellow.
Also, I would frame the whole plate, so no edge would be cut off.
finally, the bowls should be arranged in a way that there are no gaps between them or if gaps need be, at least make them perfectly symmetrical since right now, it looks messy.
