I am interested in a pelican case for transport and storage. Look in my signature for equipment. I would also want to have extra room for another lens or two (ultra wide angle and macro in the future), one more flash, and one more pocket wizard (I have 2). I only want foam, no padded dividers. I was interested in the 1520 or 1550 maybe? Can you post pictures of how you have yours organized? I have looked around on the forum for pictures of these and can't find many.

Thanks!!

See the sticky above re Camera bags. There's a big section on Pelican cases

I looked there already. They only have the 1510 and 1560. There is no 1520 or 1550.

dividers are better, the foam breaks down after heavy use. Try the 1510 with wheels, fits into overhead

I like the foam because it absorbs shock better than the dividers and things are form fitted around the equipment. I don't think everything I own will fit into the 1510.

Try the 1610. And the dividers are just as shock resistant. Gonto Pelicans site and see why

Think again :) Pads are easier to re-org the items.

There's a 1610/1614 review in the reviews sticky... would be worth a look.

The 1510 is a good size, but if you are not sure, the next larger is fine, just can't use it as carry on.

Ok, it looks like the 1510 might work for what I want to put in it. I am still sold on foam though! Its a piece of mind thing. I am just more comfortable with the foam. How much space should you have between equipment when cutting out the foam?
